Details of the Event:

  • The institution proudly celebrated the 77th Republic Day with Chief Guest Mr. Col. Tapan Singh from the 17th Battalion, The Jat Regiment, Indian Army. The ceremony began with patriotic spirit and formal honors, highlighting the importance of the Constitution, national unity, and the values of service and dedication.
  • The program included inspiring speeches by dignitaries and students focusing on patriotism, responsibility, and civic values. Cultural dance performances by students added energy and color to the celebration. Each performance reflected national pride and diversity, making the audience feel connected to the significance of Republic Day.
  • Students from SMR Nightingale School delivered a special performance that became a major highlight of the event. Their presentation was well-coordinated and appreciated by everyone present. It showcased young talent, discipline, and patriotic enthusiasm, contributing meaningfully to the celebration and creating a memorable experience for all attendees.
  • The event concluded with the distribution of specially handcrafted refreshments prepared by the students of SEAD. This thoughtful initiative promoted creativity and participation while adding a personal touch to the celebration. The closing moments encouraged appreciation, collaboration, and community spirit among students, guests, and organizers.

  • For SDG 4 (Quality Education), the vertical studio fosters inclusive, hands-on learning by integrating students from different academic levels, enhancing peer-to-peer knowledge exchange and critical thinking in architectural design.
  • For SDG 16 Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions Celebrating Republic Day highlights respect for the Constitution, democratic institutions, and rule of law. The presence of an Indian Army chief guest and patriotic programs strengthened awareness about national service, justice, responsibility, and the importance of strong public institutions.
