International conference “Visionary Action towards Livable Urban EnvironmentsVALUE – 2020” organised by VIT, Vellore on 20th& 21st Feb 2020 emphasized how intrinsically liveability is linked to spatial qualities, social inclusion, the economy, health and well-being and sustainable technologies. Ar. G.Sudha, Associate Professor presented her findings on ‘Optimisation of Building envelope towards Energy efficient design’ where she discussed about the contribution of various envelope elements towards reduced energy consumption.
Ar.K.Madhivadhani, Assistant Professor presented her study on ‘Sustainable city Intercellular approach – Study of Urban fabric pattern, Chennai’ where she proposed a new regional planning approach towardsa sustainable city development.
