Details of the Event:
- The Women’s Club of our department organized an engaging debate show for the students of SEAD. The event brought together both boys and girls to participate in a healthy and interactive discussion on various interesting topics. The debate focused on themes such as role reversal, myth vs reality, and solution circle, which encouraged students to express their opinions and perspectives confidently.
- Many students actively took part in the event, sharing their ideas and viewpoints on the given topics. The discussions were thoughtful and meaningful, allowing participants to explore different perspectives and challenge common assumptions. The debate created a platform where students could communicate their thoughts clearly while respecting the opinions of others.
- The competition was conducted in a lively and friendly manner, promoting teamwork, confidence, and critical thinking among the participants. All the students of SEAD enthusiastically supported the speakers and enjoyed the engaging conversations.
- To ensure fairness and proper evaluation, two of our faculty members served as judges for the event. They carefully observed the arguments and provided valuable feedback to the participants. Overall, the debate show was a successful and enjoyable event that encouraged healthy discussion and active student participation.
SDG Goals Outcome:
- For SDG 4 (Quality Education), The debate provided a platform for students to express ideas, think critically, and improve communication skills. Such academic activities promote learning beyond classrooms and develop confidence among students.
- For SDG 5 (gender equality) , The debate event discussed topics like role reversal and myths about gender, helping students understand equality between boys and girls. It encouraged open discussion and awareness about gender roles in society.
