Details of the Event:

Students from 1st year to 4th year of the SEAD Department enthusiastically participated in the

KTR Design Conclave, held at the SRM KTR Campus. The two-day event was filled with interactive workshops and inspiring seminars conducted by senior architects and design professionals.

Throughout the conclave, students actively engaged in all the sessions and showcased their creativity, with several participants winning prizes in various workshop categories.

Day 1: began with an insightful seminar session in the morning, where expert speakers shared their experiences and thoughts on design innovation and practice. In the afternoon session, students took part in hands-on workshops such as Lippan Art and AI Tools in Design, which helped them explore creative techniques and new design technologies.

Day 2: featured workshops on Spatial Narratives and Interior Styling, where students learned about space storytelling, design aesthetics, and styling concepts through interactive activities.

The event provided a valuable platform for students to learn, collaborate, and interact with industry   professionals while enhancing their design skills. Overall, the KTR Design Conclave was an enriching experience that inspired students and strengthened their passion for architecture and design.

SDG Goals Outcome:

  • For SDG 4 (Quality Education): The activity provided a hands-on, skill-based learning experience for students beyond academics, encouraging creativity, craftsmanship, and collaborative learning.
  • For SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), By using terracotta, a natural and eco-friendly material, the event highlighted the importance of sustainable and traditional art forms that contribute to cultural preservation.
