Details of the Event:

  • Our department recently organized an exciting club activity hosted by the Arts and Craft Club of our college. The event was celebrated as Galentine’s Day, creating a joyful and creative atmosphere for the students of SEAD. The main aim of the event was to encourage students to express their creativity and showcase their artistic talents through different fun activities.
  • Many students actively participated and enjoyed the various art-based activities organized during the event. One of the most popular activities was candle painting, where students decorated candles using beautiful colors and creative designs. This activity allowed participants to explore their imagination and create unique artworks.
  • Another interesting activity was making Polaroids, where students captured memorable moments with their friends and decorated the photos in creative ways. Along with these, there were several other small craft activities where students used vibrant colors and materials to create beautiful pieces of art.
  • The entire event was filled with enthusiasm, laughter, and creativity. Students had the opportunity to relax, interact with their classmates, and express themselves through art. Overall, the Galentine’s Day celebration organized by the Arts and Craft Club was a wonderful experience that brought students together and encouraged creativity.

SDG Goals Outcome:

  • For SDG 4 (Quality Education), The Galentine’s Day art activity encouraged students to explore creativity and learn new artistic skills like candle painting and craft making. Such activities promote creative learning and help students develop their talents beyond academics.
  • For SDG 3 (good health and well- being) , The event created a joyful and relaxing environment where students could express themselves through art. Creative activities like painting and crafting help reduce stress and improve students’ mental well-being.
