Details of the Event:

The School of Environment Architecture and Design has arranged Orientation on startup,innovation &incubation Hub for the students o 2nd, 3rd, 4th B.Arch. & B.Des.

The session began with a warm welcome address by Ms. Shree Shushmitha, a 4th-year B.Arch student.

  • The event then moved forward with an engaging lecture by Mr. Karthick, Head of Startup, Innovation, and Incubation at SRM.
  • He started by explaining the concept of startups and their importance in today’s world.
  • The lecture emphasized the role of an entrepreneur, highlighting the qualities required to become one, such as creativity, problem-solving ability, leadership, and risk-taking.
  • Mr. Karthick guided the students on how to generate a startup idea, stressing the need to identify real-world problems and create innovative solutions.
  • He elaborated on the initial steps of building a startup, including idea validation, research, and planning.
  • The importance of teamwork, networking, and collaboration in the growth of startups was also highlighted.
  • And final vote of thanks was given by Ar.Dileeban M.
