Details of the Event:
- The SEAD Department organized a vibrant Pongal celebration on campus to promote cultural values and traditional heritage among students and faculty, with colorful decorations such as kolams, sugarcane, flowers, and traditional pots creating a festive village-style atmosphere.
- The event was graced by the honorable Chairman as the chief guest, whose presence added significance to the celebration and encouraged both students and staff for their active involvement and efforts.
- The program began with a traditional welcome and Pongal preparation ceremony in a decorated clay pot, symbolizing gratitude, prosperity, and respect for nature and the harvest season.
- Many traditional games and cultural activities were conducted, including tug of war, uri adi, rangoli competitions, and folk performances, with enthusiastic participation that promoted teamwork and cultural engagement.
- The Chairman appreciated the department’s initiative and highlighted the importance of celebrating traditions in academic spaces, and the event concluded successfully as a joyful and memorable experience for everyone involved.

- For SDG 4 (Quality Education), the vertical studio fosters inclusive, hands-on learning by integrating students from different academic levels, enhancing peer-to-peer knowledge exchange and critical thinking in architectural design.
