Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) is an undergraduate degree in Architecture recognised by the CoA, which issues a license to practice as an architect in India. This robust program with a flexible curriculum prepares an individual to be innovative and creative in ideas and develop entrepreneurship skills to excel in the profession.

Duration: 5 years  (10 semesters) inclusive of one semester (IX SEMESTER) internship in the 5th  year of the course.

ELIGIBILITY

Eligibility  Criteria: 

  • Candidates must have a valid NATA score (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) conducted by the Council of Architecture (COA)
  • Candidate shall be admitted to the architecture course only if she/ he has passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with pass marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
General Admissions: Admissions are done on the basis of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and the All India National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture (CoA).[subject to the guidelines issued by Council of Architecture] Note: Candidates must submit their application on or before the last date and arrange to send the photocopy of their 10 +2/diploma marks card and NATA scorecard

What is NATA ?

The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) measures the aptitude of the applicant for specific field of study, i.e. Architecture. The test measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability that have been acquired over a long period of time, and that are related to specific field of study.

What are the eligibility criteria’s for admission to this course and can students with math & commerce as their subject are eligible ?

Eligibility for Admission : 50% marks in 10+ 2 in any stream (Commerce/ PCM) with maths as a subject
and 40% marks in NATA Exams.

For admission to B.Arch. how NATA and qualifying exams are weighed together ?

For admission to B.Arch. 50-50 % weight-age is given to 10+2 marks and NATA marks.
