With 20 years of combined experience in both industry and academia, Prof. V. Aravind brings extensive expertise in mentoring, motivating, and developing students and young faculty to reach their full potential.

Prof. V. Aravind holds a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) from Madras University and a Master of Architecture (M.Arch) from the School of Architecture and Planning, Anna University. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Urban Landscape Infrastructure. Throughout his career, he has held prominent academic positions, including serving as Principal at various architecture schools, alongside a successful career in senior roles at leading architectural firms. He is also the founder of the design firm, Space D’Signers.

As Dean, Prof. V. Aravind envisions fostering a community of creative, innovative, and socially responsible architects who shape the built environment to enhance human experiences. His leadership focuses on enhancing academic programs through curriculum innovation and faculty development. He actively promotes research and creative endeavors, emphasizing urban resilience, sustainable design, and emerging technologies. Prof. Aravind is dedicated to strengthening industry partnerships and community engagement through internships, mentorship, and outreach programs.
