LABS

The students are helped in experiencing and resolving the real engineering problems involved in the surveying of the sites, mapping operations, etc. Civil engineers from the University guides the students in learning the same. The lab is equipped with traditional and modern surveying and leveling equipment.

The Climatology lab is  located in a semi open area helping in analyzing the climatic data where the students are taught the procedures involved in collecting the data by live experiments.

The students are exposed to the various construction materials available in the market from time to time in the material museum lab. This gives them an idea in choosing their own materials for their design which helps them gain knowledge on the properties of new materials.

The department has a well-equipped computer lab, which motivates the students in developing the software skills required for the architectural design. The software taught to the students are AutoCADD, Revit Architecture, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, Photoshop, etc.

The craze for the students  in visualizing the world in different perspective is a never ending process. The photographic skills of the students are developed in the Photography lab available in the department.
